DON BOSCO SCHOOL PITRA PAYS HOMAGE TO (L) POPE FRANCIS
On April 24, 2025, Don Bosco School, Pitra, paid heartfelt homage to the late Pope Francis. The prayer service was led by Sr. Theresa Sangma, who highlighted the Pope’s remarkable virtues of humility and simplicity, as well as his tireless efforts to promote peace and harmony in war-torn regions.
Fr. Sunny addressed the students, speaking about the life and legacy of Pope Francis. He emphasized the Pope’s humility, his deep connection with people, and shared a brief biographical sketch to help students understand the extraordinary life he lived.
The short prayer service was thoughtfully organized, featuring appropriate hymns, scripture readings, and reflections, creating a solemn and respectful atmosphere in memory of the late Pope.
