Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Kairai, Mandwi established in 2009 is a co-educational English Medium Minority Christian Educational Institution owned and run by the Salesians of Don Bosco. The School is recognised by the Govt.of Tripura and is affiliated to Tripura Board of Secondary Education(TBSE). The system of education followed in the school is called the "Preventive Method", the method taught and practised by St,John Bosco,called a great educator of Youth. It is based on Reason, Religion and Loving Kindness.
It consists of a personal awareness of God, conviction, kindness and prevention of faults. We seek to form the young, through education, into men and women of character, competence, conscience, compassion and commitment who will foster uprightness in public life. The institution, established by the catholic church,is meant primarily for Catholics,but is open to all, irrespective of religion, caste or community.It gives priority to the education of all with special emphasis to the Catholics.
