Your dedication to fostering a love of learning and your relentless pursuit of excellence have significantly shaped our students’ lives. Thank you for your passion and commitment. We also recognize the importance of co-curricular activities in developing well-rounded individuals. DON BOSCO SECONDARY SCHOOL PITRA

Don Bosco School, Pitra, established in 2013 is a co- educational English medium Minority Christian Educational Institution owned and run by Salesians of Don Bosco Shillong Province. The school is recognized by the Govt. of Tripura and is affiliated to Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE). The system of education followed in the school is called the "Preventive System of education" the method taught and practiced by St. John Bosco, called a great educator of youth. It is based on Reason, Religion, and Loving Kindness. It consists of a personal awareness of God, conviction, kindness and holiness helped by personal accompaniment by the educator. We seek to form the young through education, into men and women of character, competence, conscience, compassion and commitment who will foster uprightness in public life. The institution, established by the Catholic Church, is meant primarily for Catholics, but is open to all, irrespective of religion, caste or community. It gives priority to the education of all with special emphasis to the Catholics.
