A three-day Teachers’ Training Programme was successfully organized for the teaching staff of Don Bosco School, Lawngtlai from 3rd to 5th March 2025. The training was facilitated by Mr. Adrian Rosario, a renowned educator and trainer from Mumbai, known for his dynamic and engaging style of training.
The training commenced with a solemn prayer service led by Sr. Celine Zosangpuii, invoking God’s guidance and blessings on the event. This was followed by a warm welcome address delivered by Rev. Fr. Nelson Joseph SDB, the Principal of the school. In his address, he emphasized the importance of continual professional development and the need for teachers to be equipped with modern pedagogical tools.
To honor the guest resource person, Mr. Adrian Rosario was felicitated with the traditional school sash and a bouquet of flowers, symbolizing the school’s gratitude and respect for his presence and contribution.
The sessions conducted over the three days were lively, interactive, and highly engaging. Mr. Rosario adopted a hands-on approach to teaching and training, incorporating group activities, meaningful games, and discussions that kept the participants actively involved.
Each session was thoughtfully designed to address various aspects of teaching methodology, classroom management, effective communication, and student engagement strategies. Teachers were encouraged to reflect on their own practices and were introduced to innovative techniques to enhance classroom teaching and learning.

Rev. Fr. Nelson Joseph SDB, the Principal, not only inaugurated the programme but also actively participated in all the sessions. His consistent presence and encouragement were a source of motivation for the staff throughout the training days.
The training concluded on a high note with heartfelt expressions of appreciation from the participants. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Sir MK, who expressed gratitude to Mr. Adrian Rosario for his valuable input, to the Principal for his support and guidance, and to all staff members for their enthusiastic participation.
The Teachers’ Training Programme was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impact on all the attendees. The sessions not only enriched the teachers professionally but also fostered a sense of unity and shared purpose among the staff.
