INVESTITURE CEREMONY- MAWKYNDENG
The Investiture Ceremony held at St Dominic Hr Sec School Mawkyndeng on 24th March 2025 was a momentous occasion that marked the induction of the newly elected student council members consisting of the school captain, School vice captain, captains and vice captains of the four house and of class monitors. The event, held in the school assembly arena, was attended by students, faculty, and dignitaries, and symbolized the beginning of a new chapter in the school’s leadership.
The ceremony commenced with a formal welcome speech by the principal, who highlighted the importance of student leadership and the responsibilities that come with it. After which the Principal question the willingness and the suitability of the chosen captains for this academic year 2025.
The newly appointed School Captain Mr Khampher Lamare, Ms Iamanroi Chympa, and their team of captains and vice captains took their oaths, pledging to uphold the values of the school and serve with dedication and integrity. The ceremony concluded with a motivational speech from the Chief Guest Shri Philio War UBSI Raliang Police Station who emphasized the role of leadership in shaping a positive and progressive school environment.
The Investiture Ceremony was a grand success, setting the tone for a year of active participation and contribution from the student body. The event was well-organized, and the leadership team is now ready to embark on their journey of responsibility and growth.
