A Counselling Internship Training Programme was held at Don Bosco School, Agartala, on 1st March 2025. Six teachers from Don Bosco Shool Bishramganj, Nabasardar, and Pathaliaghat participated in this enriching internship programme. The training session was conducted by Mrs. Ajita Rajesh, the esteemed Counsellor of Don Bosco School, Agartala.
The session commenced at 9:00 am and concluded at 1:00 pm. It was a worthwhile and productive session where Mrs. Ajita Rajesh shared her knowledge and expertise on various aspects of counselling. The participants received valuable tips on conducting counselling sessions in their respective schools.

Communicating through the school diary with parents.
Knowing each and every student.
Identifying the problems of students through parents and subject teachers.
Understanding the relationship of students with class teachers.
Observing each child carefully.
Assisting academically backward students with the support of subject teachers.
Maintaining daily records of students.
Stock register management.
Counselling IEP (Individual Education Plan) register.
Parents-Teachers Meeting register with school authority.
Academic issues class-wise register.
Record of academically backward students.
The training programme provided significant insights into handling students' academic and emotional challenges. The session equipped the teachers with practical techniques to improve their counselling skills, thereby enhancing the overall well-being of students.
