2ND DON BOSCO VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT-DBS MANDWI
Don Bosco School Mandwi organized the 2nd Don Bosco Volleyball Tournament under the leadership of Fr. Juel Ekka , the Principal, from 4th-5th February 2025 in the school premises. This tournament was organized by the School in collaboration with Tripura Volleyball Association. It was a day and night tournament. A cash prize of Rs. 40000 was given to the winners and Rs. 20,000 to the Runner's Up. The special features of this tournament was that a cash award of Rs. 1000 each was given to the Best Setter, Best Player and the Best Libero. The entry fee for this tournament was Rs. 1500. Mr. Biswajit Kalai, MLA of Takarjala constituency was the Chief Guest for the inaugural ceremony. 16 teams took part in this tournament. Bivash Team lifted the Champion's Trophy and Bishalgarh B team bagged the Runner's up trophy. On the final day, Ms. Swapna Debbarma, MLA of Mandai Nagar Constituency was the chief Guest.
