CAREER COUNSELING FOR STUDENTS AT RAMBRAI
An Awareness Programme on Career Counselling was organized at St. John Bosco Higher Secondary School, Nongkroh Rambrai for the students of Class XI and XII on 19th September 2025. The session was aimed at guiding the students in making informed decisions about their future academic and professional careers.
The programme began at 1:15 pm with warm words of welcome by Headmistress Sr. Marylang Suchiang FMA to the esteemed resource person, Dr. Xavier Suhan Rasquinha, a renowned career counsellor and motivational speaker. Dr. Xavier was accompanied by Sir Paschal Lyngdoh and Sir Wanroy Malang.
In his session, Dr. Xavier Suhan Rasquinha engaged the students through interactive discussions, real-life examples, and an enriching Question-and-Answer session, where the students eagerly asked questions and sought clarity on their career doubts. He encouraged the students to pursue their genuine interests while staying aware of the numerous opportunities available in various fields.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Miss Hunsuklin Lyngkhoi, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the resource person for his valuable insights and to the school management for organizing such a beneficial programme.
Overall, the Career Counselling Awareness Programme proved to be highly informative and inspiring. It was well-received by the students, who felt motivated, confident, and better prepared to take thoughtful steps toward their future career paths. The session was indeed a significant step toward empowering the young minds for life beyond school.
