SR. CHANTAL MUKASE FMA VISITS ST. PETER'S SCHOOL NONGSTOIN
On the 11th of September 2025, St. Peter’s Higher Secondary School, Pyndengrei, Nongstoin, had the great privilege of welcoming Sr. Chantal Mukase, FMA, the General Visiting Councillor, on her official visit to the school.
The gathering took place at the school assembly ground, in the presence of distinguished guests and the school community. Among those present were Fr. Marius Thongni, SDB, the Rector and Parish Priest, Fr. Carmel Myrthong, SDB, the Vice Principal, Sr. Bahun Wahlang, FMA, the Superior of St. Peter’s Convent, Sr. Catherine Sutnga, FMA, the Principal of the school, along with all the teachers and students.
The programme began with a warm welcome song by the students, followed by a lively dance performance that set a joyful tone for the occasion.
In her address, Sr. Chantal Mukase spoke with warmth and inspiration. She encouraged the students to remain committed to their studies, disciplined in their daily lives, and rooted in values that would guide them toward becoming responsible and compassionate citizens. Her words deeply inspired both students and teachers alike.
The programme concluded with a group photograph capturing the presence of Sr. Chantal, the dignitaries, teachers, and students—a cherished memory of this special day.
