On the 4th of September 2025, St. Peter’s Higher Secondary School, Pyndengrei, joyfully celebrated Teachers’ Day with great reverence and gratitude. The celebration began at 9:00 a.m. with the solemn Holy Mass, presided over by Rev. Fr. Marius Thongni SDB, Parish Priest and Rector of the institution. The Mass was concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Carmel Myrthong SDB, the Vice Principal, and attended by Sr. Catherine Sutnga FMA, the Principal, along with all the teachers and students of the school.
Following the Holy Mass, a short but meaningful programme was held in the school campus to honour the teachers. The students presented various performances, including songs, dances, and skits, as a gesture of love and appreciation for their mentors. Their creativity and heartfelt expressions brought joy and smiles to the faces of the teachers, making the day truly memorable.
The celebration concluded with a fellowship meal, shared joyfully by the teachers which strengthened the bond of unity and togetherness within the school community.
The day was a beautiful expression of respect and gratitude, reminding everyone of the invaluable role teachers play in shaping the lives of their students.
