Today, St. John Bosco Higher Secondary School, Nongkroh–Rambrai, had the privilege of welcoming Father Provincial on his official visit to the school. To mark this special occasion, a short yet meaningful gathering was organized.
The programme began with Sir George Syiem as the Master of Ceremony and a prayer moment led by Ms. Tyngshain Sangriang and Ms. Tyngshain Marwein. Words of welcome and felicitation were delivered by Sir Philip Lyngkhoi. A bouquet of flowers was presented by Ms. Grace Syiem, while the School Captain, Joplang Dkhar, offered a school sash to Father Provincial as a gesture of respect and honor.
The students then presented a short cultural programme. Class VIII presented the inspiring song “Do You Believe”, and Class XI showcased a graceful dance. The programme concluded with a vibrant dance by the Class XII boys.
Father Provincial, in his message, inspired everyone with his words of encouragement and guidance. He emphasized the importance of holistic education—nurturing the mind, body, and spirit—and highlighted the role of prevention in guiding young people towards a disciplined and responsible life. His inspiring words left a deep impact on both students and teachers.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Sister Marylang Suchiang, our Headmistress. After the gathering, students returned to their classrooms, while Father Provincial, along with Father Principal, held a fruitful meeting with the teachers.
