Don Bosco School, Lawngtlai hosted a TB Free India campaign on 25-26 August 2025, aimed at raising awareness and detecting tuberculosis among the students. The resource persons educated students about government's initiatives to eradicate TB, emphasizing the importance of early detection and treatment. Technicians collected student details and conducted X-rays to identify potential TB cases. Students from classes 10 to 12 participated in the campaign.
The campaign is crucial in achieving the goal of a TB-free India by 2025. By involving schools and targeting high-risk groups, the initiative can reduce TB Prevalence. Early detection and treatment can significantly reduce TB cases. The TB Free India campaign at Don Bosco School Lawngtlai is a step towards achieving the national goal of eliminating TB.
