BOOK FAIR AT DBS SILCHAR
The Book Fair organized by WOODPECKER from 18th to 20th August, 2025 was a delightful event for students, teachers, and parents alike. The fair was meticulously planned and thoughtfully executed, with a special focus on catering to students from Classes V to XII.
One of the highlights of the event was the systematic arrangement and categorization of books according to class levels. This made it easier for students to find books appropriate to their age and academic standards. The collection featured a wide variety of genres, including fiction, non-fiction, biographies, science, self-help, reference materials, drawing book and more — ensuring that students with diverse interests and reading preferences were well catered to.
The organizers took great care in curating a selection that encouraged students not only to read but also to explore different styles of writing and become more discerning readers. This initiative aimed to cultivate good reading habits, foster critical thinking, and develop a genuine love for literature among students.
