DBS THENZAWL CELEBRATES 79TH INDEPENDENCE DAY
On 15th August 2025, Don Bosco School, Thenzawl, joyfully celebrated the 79th Independence Day by taking part in the programme at Thenzawl Field. The event was attended by the Principal Rev. Fr. Alister Marwein, Vice Principal Rev. Fr. Mark Thanglamtuanga, teachers, students, and parents.
The Chief Guest, Pu TBC Lalvenchhunga MLA, encouraged quality education and assured his support to schools. Don Bosco School was honoured with the privilege of leading the National Anthem and presenting a special item by the Don Bosco Taekwondo Club, which was warmly appreciated.
The students also performed excellently well in the March Past among 17 school contingents. Back at school, the campus was decorated with the tricolour, reflecting love and pride for the nation.
