RANGOLI COMPETITION 2025 AT PATHALIAGHAT
In
view of the 79th Independence Day celebration of our Motherland, India, St.
Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Pathaliaghat, organized a vibrant Rangoli
Competition for students of Classes IX to XII on 13th August 2024 in the school
assembly hall. The theme for the competition was “Independence of India.”
A total of 16 classes, comprising nearly 150 students, participated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The competition commenced at 10:00 a.m. and concluded at 1:00 p.m., with a six-member teacher jury evaluating the entries on five key criteria.
The young artists, equipped with a variety of colours and designs, showcased their creativity and teamwork through striking depictions of the national flag, patriotic emblems, historical symbols, and imaginative images reflecting the essence of India’s independence. The entire hall radiated festivity, and a deep sense of national pride filled the atmosphere.
Supervised by their respective class teachers, the students worked in perfect coordination, making team spirit one of the most remarkable features of the event. Notably, all the expenses for the competition were borne by the students themselves, reflecting their dedication and ownership of the celebration.
At the conclusion, Fr. Babu Stephen expressed heartfelt thanks to all the participants and teachers for their interest, creativity, and active involvement in the event, which beautifully set the tone for the upcoming Independence Day celebrations. The competition was truly a colourful, memorable, and patriotic tribute to our beloved nation.
