Don Bosco School, Agartala, in collaboration with the Health Department, West Tripura, and the State Blood Transfusion Council, organized a Health Camp and Blood Donation Drive on 9th August 2025. The initiative aimed to promote health awareness among students, parents, and the community and to encourage voluntary blood donation.
The program commenced with the receiving of the guests, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The dignitaries present for the lamp-lighting ceremony included:

The inaugural ceremony featured a cultural dance performance by students, which was followed by an inspiring speech by Dr. Alak Dewan, who emphasized the role of students and youth in promoting health and wellness. The Vice Principal also addressed the audience, appreciating the efforts of the medical teams and the enthusiasm of the participants.
The services provided during the camp included:
Blood Donation Camp – “Donate Blood, Save Lives”
Free Eye Screening – Conducted by certified specialists
Dental Check-Up – Comprehensive screening by professional dentists
The event witnessed an overwhelming response from parents, students, and staff, all of whom took part in the health services provided. The camp successfully created awareness and encouraged healthy practices among all attendees.
The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the guests, medical teams, and all participants for making the event a meaningful and impactful one.
