Don Bosco School, Silchar, hosted a vibrant and enriching exhibition on July 17 and 18, 2025, at the Junior Block. The event served as a platform for the young Bosconians to showcase their creativity, innovation, and learning across various subjects and activities.
The exhibition commenced with a short inaugural program in the school auditorium. The program began with a prayer led by Sr. Jacintha, invoking God’s blessings for the success of the event. This was followed by a graceful classical dance presented by the students of Classes I to III, which added a joyful and cultural note to the occasion.
The esteemed judges of the exhibition were warmly welcomed with tokens of appreciation — the school scarf, a sapling symbolizing growth and learning, and a small gift as a gesture of gratitude. Fr. Jose, the Vice-Principal, then addressed the gathering. In his welcome speech, he extended warm greetings to all present and encouraged the students to make the most of the opportunity to learn and grow through their participation in the exhibition.
Following the inauguration, a live show was presented in the auditorium, where students demonstrated their skills and talents through performances and interactive displays. This was then followed by the main exhibition in the classrooms of the Junior Block.
The classrooms had been transformed into vibrant exhibition spaces, with displays arranged according to subjects and themes. Students eagerly explained their models, charts, crafts, and projects to the visitors with clarity and enthusiasm. The exhibits reflected a wide array of topics including environmental awareness, scientific experiments, mathematical concepts, artistic expression, and language skills.
The two-day exhibition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, active involvement of teachers, and appreciation from parents and guests. The event not only highlighted the creative potential of the students but also fostered confidence, teamwork, and experiential learning.
The Junior Block Exhibition 2025 was indeed a grand success, leaving behind a memorable experience for everyone involved.
