The Inter Don Bosco Schools Teacher’s Training Programme was successfully held on 3rd May 2025 at St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Pathaliaghat. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of teachers and principals from seven Don Bosco schools of Tripura—Pathaliaghat, Bishramganj, Pitra, Nabasardar, Mandwi, Baijalbari, and Herma.
A total of 215 teachers, along with their respective principals, took part in this important training session aimed at equipping educators for a more effective and enriched academic year.
The programme commenced at 9:30 AM with a prayer and a prayer dance, setting a reflective and inspiring tone for the day. Fr. Suman extended a warm welcome to all the participants and introduced Mr. Lalit Mohan Joshi from Sophy Publication, who served as the resource person for the training.
The sessions were highly interactive and enriching, with a strong emphasis on group activities, discussions, and participatory learning. Teachers were actively engaged throughout the day, appreciating the opportunity to clarify doubts, share experiences, and gain practical insights.
The training continued for seven hours, and by the end, the participants reported a significant enhancement in their understanding of modern teaching methodologies. Many appreciated the clarity and relevance of the content shared by the resource person.
The school community expressed heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Joshi for his valuable input and thanked all the participants for making the event a memorable and meaningful one.
